ABOUT US

Krank Brooklyn is a private, members-only strength and performance facility located in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. Founded in 2010 by coach Daniel Salazar, Krank was built on a simple belief: strength changes lives.
Our mission is to help busy adults become stronger, leaner, healthier, and more confident through intelligent coaching, accountability, and a proven training system. While many gyms focus on workouts, we focus on people. Every member receives individualized coaching, structured progressions, and a supportive community that makes consistency achievable for the long term.
For more than 15 years, Krank Brooklyn has helped thousands of people transform their health, performance, and confidence. Our reputation has been built on results, exceptional coaching, and genuine relationships—not quick fixes or fitness fads.
Whether your goal is to lose body fat, build muscle, move without pain, improve athletic performance, or simply feel your best, every program is designed to meet you where you are and help you become stronger than you ever thought possible.
Krank Brooklyn is proudly locally owned and independently operated.
Our team is committed to delivering a first-class coaching experience in an environment where every member is known by name, challenged with purpose, and supported every step of the way.
At Krank, we're not just building stronger bodies—we're building stronger people.
Sustainable schedules that allow coaches to perform at a high level without burning themselves out.
Competitive, dependable compensation with clear opportunities to earn more,
take on greater responsibility, and grow within the company.
A professional, growth-focused team culture made up of coaches who hold themselves
and each other to a high standard—and are proud of where they work.
The opportunity to build genuine relationships and make a real impact by helping clients become
stronger, healthier, more confident versions of themselves through an exceptional training experience.
A values-driven company built on integrity that makes decisions based on what's best
for our coaches, our members, and the community we serve.
We're looking for coaches who want more than just another training job.
We want people who are looking for a place to develop their craft,
make a real impact, build a career, and grow alongside a team that's going somewhere.
Personable & Positive: You bring good energy, enjoy working with people, and know how to make clients feel comfortable and welcome.
Professional: You're reliable, punctual, prepared, and take pride in doing things the right way.
Self-Motivated: You don't need someone constantly looking over your shoulder. You take initiative and get things done.
Growth-Minded: You want coaching, feedback, education, and mentorship because you're serious about becoming exceptional at what you do.
Team-Oriented: You understand that great environments are built by people who support each other, communicate, and hold themselves to a high standard.
Consistent: You bring the same level of professionalism, effort, and care whether it's your first session of the week or your last.
Make an Impact:
You'll work directly with real people who are trusting us to help them become stronger, healthier, and more confident. You'll have the opportunity to see the difference your coaching makes every day.
Coach:
You'll coach approximately 15–30 hours per week, developing your skills inside Krank's training system while becoming a trusted coach within our community.
Build Community:
Great coaching goes far beyond sets, reps, and programming. You'll help create an environment where members know each other, enjoy coming to train, and genuinely feel like they belong.
From the moment someone walks through our doors, they're expected to feel welcomed, supported, challenged, and cared for.
Deliver an Exceptional Member Experience:
Our coaches aren't expected to spend their days chasing leads or selling memberships.
Your responsibility is to coach at a high level, build relationships, create an incredible experience, and help our members get results.
Take Action:
See something that needs to be done? Handle it. We want proactive people who take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do.
Be Coachable:
You don't need to know everything when you walk through our doors. You do need to be willing to learn, accept feedback, practice, and execute our systems.
Be Comfortable With Technology:
We use technology, software, communication platforms, and social media to help our team operate efficiently and provide a better experience for our members.
Enjoy Working With People:
You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, but you should genuinely enjoy talking with people, listening, communicating, and building relationships.
Care About the Experience:
We want coaches who get satisfaction from helping other people succeed. How members feel when they're around you matters just as much as what you put on the training program.
Pay Attention to the Details:
We're not interested in rushing through work just to check a box. Take your time, pay attention, and do things correctly.
Be a Great Teammate:
Show up for the people around you. Communicate. Take responsibility. Hold yourself accountable. Help make the entire team better.
THIS ISN'T JUST A TRAINING JOB.
It's an opportunity to become a better coach, build meaningful relationships,
make an impact, and create a legitimate long-term career in the fitness industry.
If you're looking for a place where you can learn, coach, grow, and become
part of something bigger than yourself, Krank Brooklyn may be the place for you.
